What is Post 16 progression data?
Post 16 Destinations data is any information that is collected on students’ destinations (where a student goes after leaving Year 13), which can be a proposed or actual destination. An appropriate destination will be different for every student and is determined by a range of factors, for example: attainment (or predicted attainment) and aptitudes; subject choices; hobbies and interests; career aspirations; skills and talents; and the labour market. This complexity means there will be several appropriate options for each student.
A positive destination can include:
- Further Education (if the student has an EHCP)
