Year 7 September 2024 Intake
How to apply:
Admission to Lees Brook Academy is carried out as part of the home authority co-ordinated admission arrangements. The deadline for applications for those children applying for a Year 7 place starting September 2024 is 31st October 2023, by completing the Local Authority Common Application Form (Online Preference Form). Notification of school allocation will be made by the home local authority on National Offer Day. For September 2024 entry, the National Offer day is 1st March 2024.

You can also apply by telephone on 01332 642350. Alternatively, you can download an application form and return it to Derby City Council or request a paper application form to be sent to you using the same telephone number. For September 2023 entry, the National Offer day is 1st March 2023.

You can contact us before making an application to find if we have places available in your child’s year group.
If a place is available and there is no waiting list then a place will be offered to the applicant. If more applications are received than there are places available then applications will be refused and will be ranked in accordance with the over subscription criteria for the relevant year. Applications that are refused are entitled to appeal to an independent appeal panel.
