A small fire has occurred in the kitchen today and was quickly contained by the fire service. Pupils, staff and emergency services responded exceptionally well and we are very proud of how calmly everyone acted. All individuals are safe & fully accounted for.
Due to residual smoke, the school will be closed for the remainder of the afternoon.
Y11 will remain on site to complete their examinations, & all other students will be sent home.
