Rolls Royce Young Apprenticeship in Engineering
Congratulations to former student Adam R who collected his certificates for completing the Young Apprenticeship scheme at a ceremony held at Rolls Royce. This was a two year scheme delivered by Rolls-Royce in which students study qualifications in Engineering one day a week at their Learning Development Centre. We are proud to offer this scheme at Lees Brook and the students who successful go through Rolls-Royce application process to gain a place. Our Y9 students have been putting their programming skills to the test in Robotics Club, working with Raspberry Pi–powered cars to explore the world of self-driving technology. Using code to control movement, sensors, and decision-making, students are developing real-world skills in problem-solving, teamwork, and computational thinking.
