We believe that all our students have the capability and potential to develop and grow in their careers. The Careers & Employability programme at Lees Brook Academy is therefore designed to support students at various stages of their academic journey ensuring that they are able to make informed decisions about their future career choices.
Vision
All students should leave the school as highly qualified, confident and well-rounded young people who will go on to be successful in the world of work
Strategic Objectives:
- Develop a well-structured and sequential careers programme that is fully integrated into academy life and is understood by all stakeholders (Link to Benchmarks: GB1, 4 & 8)
- Create and develop a network of varied partners and providers who can engage students in developing their knowledge and understanding of career pathways and experiences. (Link to Benchmarks: GB5, 6, 7) 3)
- Develop a systematic record that tracks students engagement and experience of careers and enterprise activities throughout their journey within school and tracks their destination for 3 years after leaving. (Link to Benchmarks: GB3 & 8)
