Day 2 in China - the students have loved it!! We got up bright and early to catch the bullet train from Shanghai to Hefei getting up to over 200mph! Lunch in Hefei was at Dominoes (!) where the students were celebrities with the staff, followed by shopping in the mall with some exciting purchases. We then travelled to Sanhe Ancient Town for a guided tour for a more traditional Chinese experience, and again, more gift shopping! We rounded out the day with a fantastic meal at an old airport transformed into a beautiful retail park and checking into our hotel. Our first day in Shanghai was certainly a busy one! We had a guided tour of the Financial District of Shanghai, seeing incredible skyscrapers and visiting the huge shopping mall.
