On our second day at two other campuses of Hefei No.50 Middle School, our students exchanged their gifts and met more buddies. We observed (and some volunteered to take part in) morning exercise routines at line ups! Our students then took part in an English lesson, learning about the importance of team work through a Chinese climbers experience of climbing Mount Everest, followed by a traditional Chinese tea art ceremony. Students then loved making their own steamed buns and eating them as part of their lunch. We then visited the second campus to learn about Chinese calligraphy, take part in Kung Fu, Diablo, and even see the robotic dog! Finally, we visited the traditions folk museum of Anhui, learning about ceramics, traditions dress and taking part in a tie dye activity with their Chinese peers. On Tuesday we visited our Sister School, Hefei No.50 Middle School. The students experienced their school choir, musical performances, some of our own performances, a robotics and AI class, traditional Chinese paper cutting and a friendly football match with their Chinese peers. They watched the 8 time National Champions play handball and received some wonderful gifts from their buddies. There was, of course, more shopping!!
