We are absolutely thrilled to congratulate Lees Brook Academy’s very own Oliwia M on being elected as the new Derby Youth Mayor! 👏
With over 12,000 young people casting their votes across the city, this is an incredible achievement. Oliwia will formally begin her role at Derby City Council’s Annual General Meeting in May.
We are so proud of Oliwia and know she will be a fair, passionate and inspirational Youth Mayor. 🌟

The School Council recently met with Mrs Watson, Mrs Heffern, and Mr Walsh to explore how we can introduce renewable energy sources, such as solar panels, to make Lees Brook Academy more environmentally conscious.
