An Evening of Contemporary Dance

The students worked hard to bring together a variety of dance, with the performances of their class work, extra-curricular clubs and exam work. Performed by around 150 students across years 7-11 and 60 students from out of hours clubs and a local primary school.

We were delighted that Pulse and Pulsettes Youth Dance Groups, which were established through the Derby City School Sport Partnerships performed, alongside Chaddesden Park Junior School and ex-Lees Brook students from, Joseph Wright Dance Group.

The evening was full of high emotion and adrenaline as the students practiced and prepared backstage. The audience were very receptive and the students thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The photos show the fun backstage and the professional performances demonstrated backstage.
