Ullswater Experience  0ctober half term 2010

Five Lees Brook girls were given an opportunity to travel to the lake district and spend five days with a variety of other schools around the country to learn about engineering.

This trip was fully funded by Rolls Royce to try and encourage more girls to go into the field of engineering. The trip required the girls to work in different teams achieving great challenges such as, and expedition where they camped in the mountains overnight. Other activities included caving, rock climbing and a trapeze jump which looked very scary.

The girls found the week extremely challenging they clearly had a grasp of Rolls Royce’s key values, they rose to every task and made Lees Brook proud, well done!
