Congratulations to our Year 8 Boys Football Team who on Monday 9th May became winners of the Derbyshire County Cup Final held at Moor Farm. Their opponents were Highfields from Matlock.

The Boys entered the County final full of confidence from their last competitive games and showed maturity and technical ability throughout to progress through the rounds. A great team performance from the Lees Brook pupils saw them become eventual winners with an emphatic win and a very commendable score line of 4-1 over a Highfields side who had only lost one game all season. An extra mention needs to go to Keenan Meakin who scored twice and gained a much-deserved man-of-the-match award. Well done Boys you have done your school proud
