Why should I take this course?

You should take this course if you are thinking about a career in Hospitality and Catering. The course aims to give you a basic introduction to Hospitality and Catering. You will learn how to prepare and serve food and drink in a variety of settings and cover all aspects of hygiene and food safety. At the end of the course you will be able to progress to NVQ Level 1 programmes. The course is practically based supported with some theory work.

What do I need to join the course?

You must be 16 years of age at the start of the course. No specific qualifications are required to take this course. You will be asked to attend a short interview after you apply.

Good timekeeping, attendance and a willingness to learn will be important factors for the completion of the course.
