Lees Brook Community Sports College

Dress Code

An important part of being a Lees Brook student is wearing clothing and footwear that conforms to the dress code. You must also obey the rules about hairstyles and jewellery. Students not in correct dress code may be withdrawn from lessons.

College is a working environment, not a place for displays of high fashion or extreme hairstyles. Clothes worn for college should be suitable for working in - clean, practical, and sensible, and students should look smart and tidy. Clothing that is provocative in any way is not suitable and should not be worn.

Though the college does not have a blazer as part of its dress code, students may wear plain black suits, blazers or jackets and trousers if they wish. White shirts and plain black ties may also be worn.

Wearing clothing that conforms to the dress code is a condition of admission to the college. So too is adherence to college dress code rules about hairstyles, make-up and jewellery.
